The Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre
maintains an adult and teen sitter registry for our Military Families who are
looking for caregivers for their children. These lists can be picked-up in
person at the GMFRC Reception and can only be released if a
waiver is signed indicating that the Centre is not responsible for the screening of these
caregivers and their wage arrangements.
Adult
Sitter Registry
Many military families are looking for care with extended/flexible hours to
accommodate early timings, shift work and operational commitments. If you are a
community childcare provider and would like to have your name added to the GMFRC
Adult Registry, please drop in and fill out the required forms. The following
conditions are required for persons wishing to have their name added to the
Registry:

Successfully
complete a Criminal Records Check on the provider and any other
adults over the age of 18 living in the home of the provider.

complete a Child abuse Registry Check on the provider and any other
adults over the age of 18 living in the home of the provider
Teen
Sitter Registry
Parents at 14 Wing Greenwood are searching for babysitters to provide care to their
children while they are out. If your teen has completed a babysitting course and
would like to be added to the GMFRC Teen Registry, please drop in to the GMFRC and
fill out the required forms. Parents of teens should note that the Registry
list is not for general distribution or posting. Parents seeking sitters must
sign a waiver form, while the actual listing gives only the name of sitter,
